About Patrick Borchard
As the chief financial officer of Pangea Properties, Patrick Borchard leads the firm’s finance, accounting, risk management, and insurance functions. Based in Chicago with satellite operations in Indianapolis and Baltimore, Pangea Properties is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that operates more than 10,000 apartments and generates over $75 million in consolidated revenues. Prior to joining Pangea, Patrick Borchard was a senior director with Enova International, Inc. In this role, he had full P&L responsibility for the U.S. Internet lending division of Cash America International (NYSE: CSH).
Patrick Borchard attended the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with high honors and earned a bachelors of business administration in finance and accounting.
Outside of work, he supports several community organizations, including the Swift Panda Foundation, which takes a collaborative approach to solving community problems by creating partnerships between residents, local government and other nonprofits. As an officer for the foundation, Mr. Borchard supports efforts such as affordable housing, neighborhood beautification and holiday charitable giveaways. He also makes annual contributions to the Goodwill Foundation.
